My Favourite Things

I can’t read the title of this section without thinking of the Sound of Music.
So heck - These are a few of my favourite things.. 

+ Dogs - I can’t get enough. Especially our own.
+ Pizza - I am not a two slice girl - Im an eat the whole box and then wish I had leftovers for the next day girl. 
+ My Husband (Getting married is the best! I cant wait for you to experience it!)
+ Board Games - But I turn into Monica from Friends - Sorry not sorry haha
+ Sunsets - They are magic (Sun rise is too but Im not really a morning person)
+ Camping - Especially by the ocean
+ 90's music - thats my jam!  

When Im not shooting weddings you can find hanging out with friends, probably having a beer and playing some pool at our local pub. If it’s sunny though I'll be at the beach or going somewhere on an adventure ( most likely exploring for new places to shoot - Cant stop wont stop).
I love to travel and see new places. If I haven’t shot a wedding at a venue I love to go scout the grounds and places around for the best places to take those EPIC shots. 

So that is a little peek into my life. I can’t wait to hear all about yours.

Beautiful, natural and relaxed photos thats what we're all about. Whilst there is a time and a place for those forward facing smiling photos (they’re great to give your family) our approach is to take candid shots of you enjoying the day – no awkward posey images! You don’t want to look back at that photo and be like man why did she make me stand like that or I felt so embarrassed posing for that one… so its not happening! Of course I am happy to give direction and I have a bag of tricks and dad jokes up my sleeve to start the party.

Basically, I will be there to make sure that you are looking and feeling amazing and that when you look back over your photos your only wish is that you could do that again! So you will find me fully immersed in your day, I spend time getting to know your bridal party in the morning, I’ll be mingling with your guests during the day and I will most certainly be having a boogie on the dance floor with you all - why? Because I want to capture all of the emotion and the beautiful moments of the day. Plus your guests will be comfortable having their photos taken by their new friend.

It's tricky thing to spend quality time with everyone on the day but you don’t have to worry this isn’t my first rodeo. You’ll have an album full of special memories of all of your favourite people having fun, celebrating, laughing, hugging and tearing up the dance floor so that you wont miss a thing!

My Philosophy

Its a weird fact but on your wedding day your photographer is the person you are going to be spending most of your day with. That is why I go above and beyond to make sure that you feel comfortable in front of the lens and why I take the time to get to know you so that I can make sure I deliver photos that I know that you are going to love. 

At Christmas every year from a young age I used to go out with my Nana and scout where the best place would be to take our family portraits then gather the troops to take what I am sure to every one else was the obligatory photo. I looked forward to it every year. There was such a thrill in getting the photos printed and seeing how much we had changed over the years (of course now its a little scarier to see that). What I loved most is that the shots we took were like a ticket back to a beautiful memory with my loved ones.

So that’s why I am here, because I want to you to experience those same feelings I get when I look back on the photos we took. For you to be able to relive the nervous energy in the lead up, the joyful smiles, happy tears, passionate kisses, bear hugs - all the beautiful moments of your day. 

THERE ARE FEW THINGS THAT INSPIRE AND EXCITE ME MORE THAN PHOTOGRAPHY!
