Hi, I’m Meleah — photographer, qualified graphic designer, wife, mum to a gorgeous little girl and two beautiful doggos, board game enthusiast (slightly competitive), sunset lover, AFL fan (Lions baby), and a glass-half-full kind of gal who never says no to an adventure.
I love documenting the people, relationships, and moments that make life meaningful — whether that's celebrating a wedding day, welcoming a new baby, or preserving the little moments that you'll one day look back on and miss.
When you're busy enjoying the moment, that's when the magic happens. My approach is relaxed, supportive, and designed to help you feel comfortable enough to simply be yourselves. Think calm presence, hype girl energy, and a bit of behind-the-scenes chaos control when it's needed most.
My favourite people to photograph are fun-loving romantics and families who care more about connection than perfection — people who laugh loudly, love deeply, and want to remember life exactly as it felt.

What Inspires Me

Guys, — it’s you.
I know I’m in the right industry because I wake up every day genuinely excited to do what I do. To meet new couples, hear your stories, and find meaningful ways to document them through my work. I feel incredibly grateful that this is my job.
Family is at the centre of everything for me. I come home and debrief my day to my partner Kurtis (a paramedic), and our fur babies Luna and Henry — usually at a very enthusiastic speed. I don’t save lives for a living like he does, but I do feel like I get to preserve them in a different way.
Through emotion, connection, and fleeting moments in time, I document the beginnings of legacies — the kind that live on in albums on coffee tables, frames on walls, and memories that only grow more meaningful as the years pass.
And that’s what inspires me most: being trusted to turn real moments of love into something that lasts far beyond the day itself.
My Favourite Things

These are a few of my favourite things:
- Dogs — especially our own. I can’t get enough of them.
- Pizza — I’m not a “two slice” kind of girl. I’m very much an eat-the-whole-thing-and-hope-for-leftovers kind of person.
- My husband — getting married really is the best. I can’t wait for you to experience it for yourselves.
- My Daughter - An actual ray of sunshine. Being a parent is wild. Like am I actually supposed to say no to having icecream for dinner when thats the best idea ever?
- Board games — although I do have a slightly competitive streak… think Monica from Friends energy.
- Sunsets — pure magic. Sunrises too… although I’m definitely not a morning person.
- Camping — especially anywhere near the ocean.
- 90s music or 2000s RNB— always on repeat.
When I’m not shooting weddings, you’ll usually find me catching up with friends, having a beer at our local pub & playing a game of pool. If the sun’s out, I’m probably at the beach or out exploring somewhere new.
I’m always on the lookout for beautiful new locations — if I haven’t shot at a venue before, I’ll often head out to scout the area and find the best spots for those effortless, meaningful moments.
I love seeing new places, meeting new people, and telling new stories.
And I can’t wait to hear yours.

My Philosophy

From a young age, I remember going out with my Nana at Christmas to choose the perfect spot for our annual family photos. What started as a simple tradition became something I looked forward to every year — not just for the photos themselves, but for the memories they held and the joy of looking back on how life had changed over time.
That feeling has stayed with me ever since.
It’s why I do what I do — so you can look back on your wedding photos and feel it all again. The anticipation, the laughter, the happy tears, the tight hugs, and every in-between moment that made your day yours.
On your wedding day, your photographer is one of the people you’ll spend the most time with. That’s why I place so much importance on connection — making sure you feel comfortable, relaxed, and completely yourselves in front of the camera so your photographs reflect who you truly are.

When we first felt your energy at our good friends’ wedding, we knew right away that we had to have you for ours. Then, when we saw the stunning photos you captured for them—wow, there was no other option for us.
Meleah, you are incredibly talented. But beyond that, you’re such a beautiful soul with such a positive energy. We truly can’t imagine our day without you.
Honestly, for a couple who doesn’t love being in front of the camera, we can’t even choose a favourite photo because there are too many good ones! You have this incredible ability to capture every emotion behind the lens, and the photos feel so natural and candid.
